I have exciting news to share with you today. Operation Nehemiah Missions' Country Director , Mr. Timothy Levi will be visiting the United States from South Sudan for three weeks beginning on March 14th! The main purpose of his visit to our mission headquaters in the USA is to express his deep appreciation to all of you who have co-labored with Operation Nehemiah over the years to alleviate the plight of the Christians in the South Sudan. One of the biggest challenges confronting Christian ministries in Africa is the raising up of godly and trustworthy leaders who can effectively steward of what God provides through support from the American Church. In Timothy, we have found a true leader who has been tested and tried. We have witnessed a tremendous stability and growth in Operation Nehemiah since he assumed the role of Country Director in 2009. Timothy represents the young generation of South Sudanese Christians who have returned back from exile to rebuild of their country for the glory of God. His responsibility as a Country Director on the ground involves project implementation in the areas of family discipleship, church planting, agricultural development, radio broadcasting, water supply, medical care, and family based economic opportunities. He is married to Joy and they have five young children. |
