Our up coming mission Trip to the South Sudan from April- May 2015
Shalom to you and your family. We appreciate your continuous prayers and support to the work of Operation Nehemiah in the South Sudan. With current persecution of believers in Yeshua, by Islamic Jihadist taking place world wide, we can't relent nor shrink back from doing the work of the Lord here in the USA and in the South Sudan. Keeping South Sudan out of their reach is the responsibility of every Christian. The only way to keep them out of South Sudan is to bring in the Good News and to disciple the next generation to be faithful Christians, ready to die for the faith and ready to take the Gospel to the next nation.
Background: South Sudan signed comprehensive peace agreement with Khartoum Islamic regime to the north on Jan 9, 2005 to end the war of 50 years once and for all. On Jan 9, 2011, South Sudan voted in referendum to break away from Khartoum and form independence. On July 9, 2011, South Sudan was officially declared independent from the rest of the Sudan. On December 15th, 2013, war broke out in Juba, the capital of South Sudan between the government of Salva Kiir and his former Vice president Dr. Riak Machar. The country is still reeling in certain parts from the ongoing conflict engulfing three states out of ten states. The church: In the midst of the chaos is the Church, standing her ground by faith instead of running in fear, the mission of Operation Nehemiah is going interrupted. Pray that the Christians in the region will persevere in the face of uncertainty for this is the logical conclusion of this spiritual journey for all of us. James 1. We have to put the geo-political, and Islamic persecution of Christians and Jews taking place worldwide and in the South Sudan in perspective - with USA as the reference point in the overarching plan of God.
The USA under this current administration is squandering a life time opportunity to lay the right foundation of cultural, Judeo- Christian relationship , political and economic ties with this new country. In my view, South Sudan has more to share in common with USA and it is much feasible for USA to establish and maintain allies with South Sudan at all level than any of these rogue Islamic Jihad driven countries with which we want to forge relationship at any cost at the expense of ordinary citizens in this country who have been deceived to believe that Islam is a peaceful religion. We know it by its fruits. It is not. This is political correctness at its shear degree . This approach of forging economic ties with enemy of our faith, who means what he says, while living in denial of the reality of his menaces and presence in the country , at the expense of our very existence as a family , a church and as a nation, endangering the lives of ordinary Americans who have no clue as to what this religion from the pit of hell represents is very dangerous. They have drained and destroy US economy through 7 decades of Islamic oil - imports into this country. They have exported Islamic sleeper cells into America, set the countries on fire and blame ( USA and Israel ) for their woes. This current administration has very different priorities for South Sudan and the rest of Africa. The priority is “ the US sponsored UN driven Social engineering gender based approach as a condition to get USAID.” Un driven social engineering agenda 21 century aims to destabilize the primary unit of the society as oppose to creating bilateral sustainable development and partnership to create sustainable living. In the midst of what ever the enemy is throwing at us to discourage us, from carrying on with the work, we refuse to shrink back. Nehemiah was a Man of Prayer and a Man of Action: He confronted six attempts from the enemy who tried to hinder the work which God has assigned him to do in rebuilding the Wall of Jerusalem. In 21 years of Operation Nehemiah work in South Sudan, we have confronted numerous attempts by the enemy to hinder the work. But we say, we are doing Great Work on the wall, why should we go down so that the work stop? . We read of six attempts by the enemy to hinder this work of God: (1) in chapter 2:19 we have ridicule, (2) in chapter 4:2 further ridicule, (3) in chapter 4:8 conspiracy, (4) in chapter 4:10 discouragement by brethren, (5) in chapter 6: 2,4, four attempts by craft to cause the work to cease, (6) in chapter 6 v. 5,6 false accusations. Nehemiah overall response was: "I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease?" (Nehemiah 6:3). He had an appreciation of the task in hand: the glory of God was involved in it. On the Home front- by the grace of God, we are all doing well. We always look forward to communicating with you what the Lord is doing in our lives and in the ministry of Operation Nehemiah. This winter has been brutal here in New England. The snow has been constantly falling in the entire region for weeks without stopping. But The Lord has been gracious to us in protecting our going out and our coming in. On the Ministry front ... It has been almost two months since, I returned from South Sudan last year. We are preparing for our annual family mission trip to the South Sudan for 2 months beginning from the last week of March to the last week of May 2015. We are looking forward to this mission trip. South Sudan continues to be a country in a volatile situation, yet, God is in charge, taking care of His people and business. So the challenge for us is wait on Him now to get us down there. We need to be on the ground to be with our ground team to encourage and to be encouraged by them, and to see to it that the work that the Lord has begun through Operation Nehemiah in the discipleship of the family, raising up the men, strengthening the role of indigenous churches leaders, encouraging self sufficiency, and productivity continue to prosper With your support, we are committed to help the discipleship program for the South Sudanese who have returned from the exile to rebuild their country. They need to acknowledge God Almighty who has delivered us from the grip of Islamic caliphate in their lives and now as we are confronting the UN social engineering agenda designed to destroy the family , the church and the community. We are disciplining them to embrace spiritual life only found in Yeshua, the Messiah. Your support to help Operation Nehemiah to implements this vision for South Sudan is critical and it will serve as a deterrent to the vicious UN Social engineering agenda from taking root in South Sudan and keeping Islamic encroachment from getting into the interior of Africa. . Despite of the crisis in the certain part of the country, the work of Operation Nehemiah is going forward and we are witnessing God's mighty Hand upon the work and the people He has entrusted to us. Operation Nehemiah was established in 1993, to rebuild the family, the church and the community in the South Sudan from ground up after losing 2 million Christians to Islamic persecution. Thousands of South Sudanese who survived the persecution took refuge in different countries for at least 30 years. In 2004, the Lord opened the door for us to return to take hold of the country, rebuild it and dedicate it to God Almighty in Christ Jesus. We are obeying Yeshua's command, rebuilding a city on the Hill that will not be hidden. Yeshua says " You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
The Mission Trip is coming down to the final months. from April 7- May 30, 2015. Our 8 member family will be accompanied by the Parents of Jonathan Lueken: Roger and Patty and sister Emma Lueken.

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.”
The team has assembled... It is the Biblical family relationship in the body of Yeshua that we want to encourage and promote between the families in America and South Sudan . We are going to put our hand together with our ground team and their families to work on the Beth Israel farm house to accommodate 3-4 families from both in South Sudan and in the USA.
