 Summary:

Due to the continuous rainfall since early October, the road leading to Beth Israel Farmland from the main Juba-Nimule Highway A43 has been impacted. The rain has resulted in the deterioration of the road that connects Beth Israel Farmland in Beth Israel Levi of Akko Mountain and has also led to the destruction of the Nehemiah bridge over River Eyibi, which linked the feeder road to the farmland.

In South Sudan, the Toyota Land Cruiser is a reliable choice for off-road farming, priced at $37,000. This vehicle serves as a versatile transportation option, essential for navigating challenging terrains and supporting agricultural activities in the region.

Located 5 miles away from the main highway, Beth Israel Farmland offers a tranquil and secluded setting, nestled off-road amidst the picturesque countryside. However, the idyllic location comes with its challenges, especially during the rainy season when road conditions deteriorate significantly, making access difficult. To navigate these rugged terrains effectively, Sarah and I have identified the need for a reliable and sturdy vehicle – a double cabin pick-up Toyota Land Cruiser, renowned for its exceptional performance in such demanding environments with parts available in Uganda or South Sudan.

In our search for the perfect vehicle, we have found that used Toyota Land Cruisers are available in Dubai at a cost of $34,000. Considering the additional shipping expenses of $3,000 to transport the vehicle to South Sudan, the total investment required amounts to $37,000. While the price may seem significant, it is a crucial investment in ensuring our mobility and accessibility to Beth Israel Farmland, enabling us to continue our operations effectively.

The process of acquiring the vehicle involves a timeline of approximately one month for it to reach its destination in South Sudan. Therefore, we aim to secure the necessary funds for this essential purchase by November 30th, allowing us to procure the Toyota Land Cruiser promptly and overcome the transportation challenges that lie ahead. Revitalizing the Beth Israel Farmhouse in South Sudan

Renovation Project at Beth Israel Farmhouse: Enhancing Sustainability and Comfort- $15000:

 In order to finish the renovation project at our residence in the Beth Israel farmhouse, which involves activities such as installing 7KW of solar power, dividing the house into three bedrooms, repairing the leaking roof, and building three huts and storage spaces for the current farmers to relocate to, we require $15,000. This project is intended to improve the living conditions of the residents and establish a more sustainable and pleasant environment for everyone involved.

 This is Beth Israel farmhouse, a place we will call home when in South Sudan: Therefore, we have been working on renovating the Beth Israel Farmhouse since August 2024 in order to bring the property back to a habitable condition for our family after some looting and destruction of property in that building during the national crisis in South Sudan from 2016 to 2018. Solar panels were removed, and windows were damaged. The entire part of the house, both inside and out, including the roof, needs.

Complete Internet service will be available at the Beth Israel farmland, which will greatly enhance our ability to communicate and operate efficiently. This development is crucial for the successful relocation of my broadcasting equipment to the new site, ensuring that our outreach efforts can continue seamlessly. As I take on the responsibility of leading the ONMI mission to promote important values such as family unity, church growth, and food security in our community, I am grateful for the unwavering support of my wife. Her encouragement and partnership are invaluable as we work towards these noble goals.

Looking ahead to the upcoming months from December 2024 to April 2025, Sarah and I are excited to collaborate closely on initiatives that aim to further advance our cause. One such project involves intensifying our initiative for drip irrigation practices, particularly during the dry season. Strategic Move: ONMI Headquarters Relocating to South Sudan in 2025 for 6 months

Major shift will take place in 2025: ONMI's office will move to South Sudan for a minimum of 6 months each year starting in 2025. I will be managing the mission from there in real-time. It is essential to find someone to handle the work here and maintain the office's operations in my absence. Sarah and I will require orientation for both family and ministry matters.

 Complete Internet service will be available at the Beth Israel farmland, and my broadcasting equipment will need to be relocated there soon.  As a wife, she is in support of my leadership in guiding the ONMI mission to promote family values, church growth, and food security in the country. Sarah and I will be working together from December 2024- to April 2025

Securing Stability for Family through On-Site Supervision and Drip Irrigation Management during dry season.

Ensuring stability for my family is of paramount importance to the ministry as it not only impacts my personal life but also influences my ability to focus on the tasks at hand. The upcoming project, scheduled to commence in January 2025, holds significant importance as it requires my presence on-site for a period of at least 6 months. Collaborating closely with Sarah during this time will be crucial in overseeing the operations effectively.

Our primary objective during this project will revolve around the meticulous management of the drip irrigation system, especially during the dry season spanning from December 2024 to April 2025. This responsibility is vital as it directly contributes to the overall success and security of the project. The implementation of the drip irrigation system will not only enhance efficiency but also ensure sustainability in the long run.

Moreover, the procurement of the drip irrigation kit priced at $4500 is an essential investment that underscores the commitment towards achieving our goals. This kit will serve as a fundamental tool in optimizing water usage and maintaining the health of the crops throughout the project duration. Its significance cannot be understated, as it forms the backbone of our agricultural practices during this critical period.

Acquiring a Toyota Land Cruiser for Off-Road Farming in South Sudan

Journey back to South Sudan:

I am scheduled to depart for South Sudan on December 15, one weeks prior to the Christmas. This trip holds personal and professional significance, involving preparations for the wedding ceremony and other commitments in South Sudan.
