He is the true Light of the World - John 8:12, Have a blessed Hanukkah

Shalom to you and family. Iam wishing you Hanukkah feast of dedication.

Hope and pray that you are doing well in the Lord. Thanksgiving and Hanukkah have just come and gone in the last week of November. Christmas is coming right up. It is how fast the year 2021 has come and almost gone. Believe it or not these holidays all three are tied to Judeo-Christian Civilization which rooted out evil and tyrants but acknowledge and thanks God the Creator of universe for His provision and Salvation.

The Festival of Hanukkah is celebrated for eight days beginning on 25 Kislev (the ninth Biblical month).

The Amazing thing about Israel and Jewish people is the authenticity of the Biblical history, where you can walk the Biblical history in real time. In 2019, I was in Israel, drove from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem in the middle of the night. I saw highway sign for Modiin. Right away I remembered the name mentioned in Hanukkah story. This was where Mattathias and his five sons one of which was Judah Maccabees lived. “The modern city was named after the ancient Jewish town of Modi'in, which existed in the same area. Modi'in was the place of origin of the Maccabees, the Jewish rebels who freed Judea from the rule of the Selucid Empire and established the Hasmonean dynasty, events commemorated by the holiday of Hanukkah. Don’t forget to dig into the origin of the 7 and then 8 branches of Menorah. Exodus 25: 31-32 . It is all recorded

Hanukkah for Believers in Yeshua

Also known as the Feast of Dedication, Hanukah is not part of central Biblical Festivals mentioned in Leviticus 23. But it was prophesied in Daniel 11. As a matter of Jewish history, intrinsically linked to the Whole Bible, Hanukkah is worth exploring for both Jews and Christians one in Messiah. It is recorded in Apocrypha Maccabees 1 & 2. As believers in Messiah Yeshua, we remember the example of our Master Yeshua the Messiah. In John 10:22, Yeshua was in Jerusalem During the feast of dedication. He was there for a purpose because is the miracle of Hanukkah. The law did not require Jews to be at the Temple in Jerusalem, as this was not one of the pilgrimage festivals. Everyone observed it in his own place, not as a holy time. Jesus was there that He might demonstrate that he was indeed the true Light (Menorah that signs in darkness) who came into the world and give glorious significance to miracle of Hanukkah of eight days of holiday. Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch when the Sadducees asked him “How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Messiah tell us.” John 10:22

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45 ESV)

Yeshua is the shamash, the servant candle from which all other candles of the hanukkiah are lit. Yeshua said that he is the light of the world (John 8:12; 9:15). At the same time, he told his followers, “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14). It is our duty to shine the light of Yeshua to the world, just as the hanukkiah carries forth the light that originates in the shamash.

Hanukkah is an annual memorial of the cleansing of the Temple and rededication of the altar. It is a reminder to us to cleanse our temples and rededicate our lives to following Yeshua.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 ESV)

ONMI South Sudan: The main Bethlehem Elementary School construction is entering its third phase. $100,000 already spent on the work with very impressive outcome. We thank God for you.

Thank you again for your tenacious support for the work of Operation Nehemiah Missions in South Sudan. There are a lot of good news to share coming from South Sudan to my desk every day. Can’t wait to travel there early next year to spend time with our brothers and sisters toiling for the Kingdom on the ground. But their success is due to your tenacious and generous financial support to sustain the ongoing work on the ground. God has spoken loud and clear through you, our benefactors. God wants this school building to be completed before the beginning of the next academic calendar February 2022. We have one more floor to stack on top of the first one. The Foundation cost us $50,000, First floor $50,000 and the second floor will also cost us $50,000 bringing the entire project to a completion at the cost of $150,000. This is just the main central building. After this will work on building the church and hospital.

In Radio Broadcasting Department, where ONMI broadcast on NTC97.3 FM Gospel news over the airwaves of South Sudan and northern Uganda, we are in need of $3000 to purchase and restore worn out solar batteries and solar panels. NTC 97.3 FM is run by off the grid solar power.

News Across the USA:

Supreme Case For Life: “In the most-watched case of a generation, the eyes of the nation's pro-lifers were on the Supreme Court this morning as oral argument was held in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, a case that will answer the question of "whether all pre-viability prohibitions on elective abortions are unconstitutional."

That's legal-speak for a case that could see the demise of Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, decades-old cases that wrongly constitutionalized a right to abortion, and whose consequences we have been living with ever since.” Mr. Tony Perkins, Family Research Council.
