July 2022 ONMI Mission Report Update
Dear brothers and sister in Yeshua the Messiah, God bless you and keep you and be gracious to you. I hope and pray that this missive from ONMI July 2022 mission report finds you well in the Lord. The year 2022 is now midway through. Iam thanking God for you for His mercy, protection, provision, and omnipresence in our lives. His unfailing promises and tender love are evidence every day and every time we wake up and go to sleep. Thanking you for standing with us through your financial and prayers without which we couldn’t do what we are doing.
Pray for me in this office - for productivity and that the Lord's work goes forward from this place to South Sudan for His glory.
Not taking you for granted, I truly appreciate your labor of love in lifting up our hands in this work. The benefits of your effort are reciprocal in many ways because as. As it is written:
“They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.” Now he who supplies seed to the Sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. "2 Corinthians 9: 9-11
ONMI Country Director Timohty Levi and family
You are giving to those who do not have capacity to give back. Yet the Lord promised that He is your reward. Summer has been very tough in term of fund raising of ONMI. The month is coming to an end in few days, and we are still behind our monthly target. Trust that with your help, we shall pull through. Keeping our eyes on him, we are pressing ahead regardless of the pressure. We are also keeping you in prayer in the middle of unpredictable US economy with inflation skyrocketing at 9.1 %, gas prices are $ 5 average per gallon.
For 34 years in America, until now, I have never heard American food crisis reaching to this proportion. It surreal that for many people, one must choose between putting gas in the gas tank to get to work or put food on the table. We usually don’t talk about these real concerns that is impacting the country on daily bases on our newsletter. However, it is imperative and relevant. So being on beneficiary end on behalf of ONMI, I am also praying for you and your family, thanking God for you as always for your generosity.
From the home front, I truly want to thank you for your prayers for my family. This past two years has been a very difficult trying time for me and my family. But God is in the business of healing and restoration. Out of my 8 children, My Son Nechemyah Levi 18 has been a blessing to us and the body of Yeshua in many ways. He was homeschooled, finished high school at 14 and trained himself as an IT small business starter. He came to the Lord at the tender age of 5. He had accompanied me on ONMI mission trip to South Sudan for more than 12 times in span of 11 years. The past two years has been a trying time for both of us. But in retrospect, it is a blessing in disguise. Romans 8:28. He has grown into a man.
Nechemyah and Papa - just ourselves
Defying the odds, in a chaotic world we live in today, he is trusting the Lord to start a family of his own. Asking you to keep him and his fiancé in your prayers. Iam very excited to share with you that he is getting married and starting his life as a married man to a godly lady from godly parents that I know. She is wonderful woman for him.
He is also helping me with ONMI’s IT work since almost all our mission works are done on computers over the internet connecting USA with South Sudan, his expertise will be appreciated.
In the field, upon my return to the US from South Sudan, this past June, with your help, the Lord has answered our prayers in getting school materials for Bethlehem Primary School: We managed to get bundle of fabrics, used our own tailoring staff to make the uniforms to cut down cost for the students. We managed to purchase Printer/Photocopy machines to print our own examination papers. We also secure support for school desk. We are now confident that every student will have desk comfortably to sit on.

Additionally, with your support, we have also secured funding to put finishing touches on Bethlehem Primary School building that was completed in May. The building need guard rail for the stairway ways and balcony on the second floor. We needed, electricity, flush toilet, and 5000 gallons of water daily to supply the mission compound of 700 people on daily bases.

Agriculture and agricultural food products: Iam very grateful to share with you the progress of food security for stabilizing South Sudan of which you have been an integral part. Your support is having a huge impact on food provision for South Sudan. In contrast, In June the UN announced that 3 million South Sudanese will die of starvation unless they raise $400 million to buy wheat flour from war-stricken Ukraine and Russia. This is so absurd! You know what $400 million can do? Tens of thousands of farm tractors with implement like the one we have here.
