Reports: Medical, Water, Construction & the Gospel News
Shalom to you brothers and sister in Yeshua. Thank you for your support to help help us solve the issue of failed water pump. I will share input on the repair and installation early next week.
Biblical Festivals of Rosh Hashanah
Again, I can’t thank you enough for your generosity in contributing to Operation Nehemiah Missions Need of water. The $4,500 that was needed to secure a new water sub pumped has been raised in its entirety. Iam wishing you a blessed Rosh Hashanah, The Festival of Trumpet (The Lord said to Moses, ahead “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of sabbath rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts. Do no regular work, but present a food offering to the Lord, Leviticus 23: 23-25’”
Very significant fulfillment
1- Yeshua has yet to fulfill Rosh Hashanah because this Biblical prophetic Feast in Leviticus is foreshadowing and directly pointing to future fulfillment of His return to earth as it should be a perpetual reminder to us everyday that Yeshua shall return to earth. “Even the dead will hear the shofar when Messiah returns: 1 Thes. 4:16 “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the shofar blast of God, and the dead in Messiah will rise first.” Therefore, if this event is the bound to happen, how should we live our lives moment by moment?
2- As we are looking forward to Yom Kippur and Sukkot in the coming days and weeks ahead, let us be alert, sober and spiritually guarded for these days are evil.

Nehemiah Field Clinic, medical need in South Sudan. Most of our report has been concentrated on construction, water, and agriculture. But I want to show you where your support has been going in term of medical needs. Without you, I would say with certainty that ONMI medical department could have been closed. But we are reminded as always by the day today’s menaces of tropical diseases that cause illness that leads to death. So ONMI medical depart is not an option but imperative.
The medical needs couldn’t be more pressing than right now. We have Bethlehem Elementary school that we opened in April to serve as place of learning for at least 350 children who have been bought back to South Sudan by their parents from Ugandan exile after 5 years in refugee camps. But the challenges to attend to their day-to-day medical needs remain our top priority. We commit their needs into the hand of God in prayers so that all their medical needs are met.
This week we put together video clip and pictures which you can share with your family, church, and those in the medical fields to keep ONMI’s medical support in your prayers. We can’t do it alone without your support. We thank God, finally, we have a permanent nurse taking the leadership of the Nehemiah Field Clinic. Please I asked you to pray for UZZI James who is now in charge of this initiative.
Today, Iam very grateful to see that those children with sickly eyes and running noses will receive great treatment.
I believe, in years to come as things progress as they are in the hand of the grace of God, ONMI’s medical department will be stabilized and it will attend the status of all the basic elements of a medical facility for the entire community including OR, maternity ward, Inpatient and dental hygiene etc. We hope to staff with a couple of resident doctors and couples of nurses and clinicians.
And we will increase the budget annually as the need arises. South Sudanese are now back home in their country. People are not scattered all over the place. We can now stabilize medical Operation to the
community.
They are getting Creative and Productive on the ground.
In the past, everything must be imported from Uganda including making logo on a mere T-shirt. Nowadays, ONMI’s staff is not only making its own bunkbeds, educating the young people, but ground leadership team is also involved in putting our logos on T-shirts right there at Bethlehem Mission center for the staff. This creative artist, member of our staff is putting logo on T-shirts for our Construction staff and those who are working on Hydraform block production.
This is the type of stability, creativity we are looking for. There is hope and purpose for the cause of Operation Nehemiah to which you are contributing your time, money, and prayer for. You are transforming the lives of thousands and lifting them out of their misery of poverty and constant reliance on UN handout and permanent relief dependence. Friends, it does not take much money to support south Sudanese Christian families to settle down.
Funding for September needs your prayers..
We are currently in the month of September. ONMI’s monthly support stands at $60,000 a month. This is a small budget for many organizations to function. But for us this is truly what God wants us to focus on raising every month and to be faithful with it to meet the needs in the field. So as the Lord leads you to commit your monthly support to Operation Nehemiah Mission, this $60,000 you are helping us raised every month help a lot of people support themselves: We are not just giving them hand out. Rather you are helping us to help them appreciate their God given talents and abilities., working with their own hands.
With your help, we are transforming the minds and the hearts of the community to appreciate God's order of Creation, family, Church and country while living in the rural and countryside and make use of the land that God has given them. Living in the rural community in the vast arable farmland is very healthy and productive as opposed to sending young families and young people into big cities like Juba where young people are introduced to violent, sexual promiscuity, sex trafficking, robbery, and poverty. This is what your support for ONMI means, providing tangible solution to stop societal and spiritual problems affecting the South Sudanese youth.
