USA, a City on a Hill an Exceptional Nation; Thanksgiving for your Support & Prayers

Shalom to you friends, families, and collaborators in the Great Commission, I hope this message finds you well in Yeshua. On behalf of ONMI and my family, I wish you a blessed Thanksgiving Thursday. I want to express my deep gratitude for your support in advancing ONMI's mission in South Sudan. Thanksgiving reminds us all to thank God for everything He has given us here in the United States of America. The Pilgrims and Puritans reminded us when they landed in 1619 on the shores of Plymouth, MA, seeking religious freedom from Great Britain, they gave thanks to God for protecting them across the Atlantic Ocean. John Winthrop envisioned a City on a Hill in 1630, for MA & what would become the USA in 1776, delivering the following message.

John Winthrop delivered the following sermon before he and his fellow settlers reached New England. The sermon is famous largely for its use of the phrase “a city on a hill,” used to describe the expectation that the Massachusetts Bay colony would shine like an example to the world. But Winthrop’s sermon also reveals how he expected Massachusetts which laid the foundation of American exceptionalism differ from the rest of the world to a city on the Hill A Modell Hereof God Almighty in his most holy and wise providence hath so disposed of the condition of mankind, as in all times some must be rich some poor, some high and eminent in power and dignity; others mean and in subjection.

Embarking on a Four-Month Mission trip to Strengthen ONMI's Foundation in South Sudan December 17, 2024 - April 2025

As we near the end of 2024, I want to thank God for all He has accomplished through you in supporting ONMI’s restructuring initiative for 2024 and beyond. Our start was quite challenging as the restructuring initiative to drive ONMI towards sustainability began. We encountered various issues inherited from previous administrations. In January 2024, over 90% of our equipment was non-operational and required repair and restoration.

Introducing new staff to ONMI's vision during restructuring and the leadership team's internal efforts proved formidable. Nonetheless, we persevered through it all.

Introduction: Key Insights on Two Major Events of 2024

USA: I would like to start my open mission report by addressing two major events in 2024, in the USA and Israel.

In the United States, we observe a renewed sense of optimism after four years of destruction and despair under the Biden/Harris administration. On November 5th, there was a significant revival of hope and divine favor for MAGA and AFA. Our prayers have been answered. President Trump, despite facing persecution and obstacles from the liberal democratic elites in Washington, D.C., and numerous legal battles from the federally managed DOJ to state-run District Courts across the nation attempting to impede him, including two assassination attempts on his life.

Divine Appointment: Trump's Historic Non-Consecutive Re-Election

However, God appointed President Trump, leader of the (MAGA) GOP, to guide America as a Constitutional Republic in this era. Through the populace, God decisively chose to re-elect our 45th President as the 47th President of the United States, marking the first instance since 1892, when Grover Cleveland, a Democrat from New Jersey, was also re-elected to the presidency in non-consecutive terms, that a second presidency has been secured in U.S. history.

Trump's Victory: A New Era of GOP Leadership and Hope for the USA

President Trump secured a significant victory with 312 electoral votes and over 4 million popular votes, leading to the GOP gaining control of both the Senate and the House. We should keep President Trump and JD Vance in our prayers as they work tirelessly to assemble his administration's leadership team. Today, the future of the USA seems more hopeful and peaceful than ever.

UN and ICC Double Standards: The Futile Arrest Warrant Against Israel's Leaders

UN & ICC hypocrisy: Israel is the sole Jewish state with a democratic government, encircled by rogue and perilous Islamic groups led by the globally aspiring caliphate regime of Iran and its proxies. The ICC arrest warrant will not succeed. As you all know, the infamous ICC has finally carried out its threat by issuing an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

Israel's Non-Membership Status in the International Criminal Court was breached.

They targeted the leader of the only democratically governed Jewish state, a member of sovereign nations, whose country is under assault by Iran's Islamic regime and its six stateless Islamic terrorist proxies: Hamas in Gaza on October 7, 2023, Hezbollah in Lebanon, on October 8, 2023, followed by the Houthis in Yemen, and Islamic groups in Iraq, Syria, and Judea and Samaria. This ICC action, which came one year after October 7, 2023, will not last; the Hamas attack that killed 1,200 Israelis and others, took 252 hostages to Gaza, and injured 3,500 Jews and Israelis in that horrific attack on Israel, the largest since the Holocaust.

Strategic Actions for U.S. Leadership in Support of Israel

As President Trump leads the USA in his upcoming 2025 administration, alongside the Senate and the House, it is crucial to take strong actions against the ICC, which is influenced by Islamic lawyers and South Africa in their stance against Israel. Additionally, under Donald Trump's leadership, the USA should stop funding the UN and its affiliates that use our taxpayers' money to oppose Israel. Psalms 121.

ONMI's 2024 Review and 2025 Strategic Outlook – South Sudan

ONMI's overview of 2024 activities and upcoming plans for 2025

In February 2024, marking my third consecutive visit to personally oversee progress and collaborate with our renewed leadership team, we reopened Bethlehem Nursery and Primary Academy. At the same time, we launched ONMI’s Polytechnic Institute, also known as JJMPI Polytechnic, aimed at training South Sudanese students in various engineering disciplines to encourage them to remain in the country and generate employment opportunities to support their families. This initiative was successful, as we graduated our first group of 18 students from different engineering fields, enabling them to pursue careers in their chosen areas.

Revitalizing Agriculture and Ensuring Food Security Through Equipment Repair and Innovative Farming

During this period, our efforts focused on repairing crucial equipment, such as transportation vehicles and utility machinery like tractors that were not operational. Once the tractor was fixed, we turned our attention to agricultural projects using both drip and traditional farming methods.

These initiatives aimed to ensure food security and revitalize agriculture in the country year-round, with the goal of reducing food imports from Uganda.

Overcoming Equipment Challenges to Restore Community Broadcasts and Infrastructure

During the effort to complete the ministerial restructuring overhaul, we faced a significant challenge with repairing the backhoe's hydraulic system, engine, and transmission. Parts imported from Europe were incorrect, causing considerable delays. However, as we finalized our 2024 restructuring and leadership management, we managed to get the backhoe operational and back in the field. Our ground team successfully repaired ONMI's radio station (NTC 97.3 FM), which was damaged by a lightning strike, along with the water system and internet access that provide the community with essential broadcasts of the Good News and health-related information.

Rebuilding and Recovery: Restoring Access After Severe Flooding

Bridge washed and fixed

Despite observing some promising changes from September until now, the region has experienced heavy and continuous rainfall. As a result, the bridge connecting ONMI to the Beth Israel Farmland was washed away, and the road was destroyed by the floods. However, with your support, we are making progress and have successfully rebuilt the bridge over the Eyibi River. We have also deployed the newly repaired backhoe to fix the road by constructing a waterway to divert the water off the main road leading to the farmland.

ONMI's Technological Advancements: Bridging Communities Through Sustainable Internet Connectivity

In the area of Technology, I think ONMI’s restructuring initiative toward sustainability has made major breakthroughs in the area of having dependable internet access in all of ONMI’s mission communities in South Sudan. The internet connectivity has reenergized ONMI media's quest to integrate ONMI’s mission in South Sudan with ONMI's mission here in the USA. Every week, we're able to teach and share the Gospel message live with the people of South Sudan from our USA office in Lanesborough, MA. Additionally, we are able to use the platform as a service to the polytechnic institute courses online for our students directly from US institutions. We manage to maintain weekly live streaming of the Gospel message to people globally via various social networks.

Leading Sustainability Initiatives in South Sudan: A Four-Month Mission: Embarking on a Four-Month Mission to Strengthen ONMI's Foundation in South Sudan

Considering these developments, I will be traveling to South Sudan for the third time this year in December, staying from December to April 2025, to directly manage the significant changes driving ONMI towards genuine sustainability progress.  During these 4 months, I will focus on implementing the dry season drip irrigation system to boost food production from January to April. I will supervise essential infrastructure such as the Great Commission, the Polytechnic Institute, BNPA, the Gospel radio station, Drip Irrigation for year-round food security, the medical department addressing healthcare needs, and small business startups.

In the main facility we have been able to received medical supplies which were purchase from across Uganda through the assistant we received from our benefactors from the USA,.

The amount of income raised after the sales of these medicines is used to do small scale restocking and pay our medical staffs both under BNPA medical unit and the main branch.

I will also be able to manage my family and ONMI activities from the ground.  This will be my first time on a mission trip that will last for 4 months.  In the past, the most I have ever spent on the ground was 3 months in 2016, only to be disrupted by South Sudan’s national crisis that year.  I am moving my office temporarily to South Sudan during this time because we are at a critical juncture in ONMI’s quest to establish itself as a ministry with a strong foundation and a vision to create sustainable living after 20 years in South Sudan.

Evangelist Emmanuel and Elder Jino, are making the use of these projects for exactly what it is, I couldn't believe this is happening right now in the military barracks. People are really getting the Gospel  like never before. You can see everybody is so glued to hearing the message. I suppose this is the best investment, yet that ONMI has invested to support BIMK's mission outreach to the community. Very impressive. It is cost effective!!!! Praise the Lord. Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19

Patience and love: Be patient with each other and make allowances for faults.

Unity: Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit.

One body, one Spirit, one hope: There is one body and one Spirit, and believers are called to one glorious hope for the future.

Bethlehem Nursery & Primary Academy

Since the beginning of the year, Bethlehem nursery and primary academy through ONMI medical center have been able to provide key and basic medical needs for the hundreds children attending our boarding school services. Treatment for tropical diseases like; malaria, pneumonia, common cold, diarrhoea and etc. The main ONMI medical branch in Mutala Ambassador's house Kerepi act as main medical referral facility for complicated medical manageable conditions.

USA office budget needed for December 10, 2024, to April 10, 2025, by December 10 is 33,235 line 1- line 7 in the spreadsheet

Maintaining Infrastructure During Winter Absence

Here on the USA side, as I will be leaving the country in the middle of winter, my home where ONMI is operating will need to maintain fixed expenses for the long-term infrastructure in place for us to weather the storm of winter during my absence.

Attached is the spreadsheet detailing the funds required by December 10, prior to departure on December 17. Funds for fixed expenses, items 1-7, are needed by December 10 to prepay all fixed bills for four months, from December 10, 2025, to April 10, 2025.

Raised: $15,000. Balance: $48,235 -$15,000 = $33,235 due December 10.

Securing Essential Financial Support for ONMI's USA office to advance my presence in South Sudan to do Fieldwork

I would like to highlight some important financial needs for your consideration, prayers, and support. My plan to spend 4 months away from U.S. soil, where we typically conduct most of our fundraising, requires securing several fixed and monthly ONMI/staff support funds in advance.

Concrete Mixer - $22,000 one time.

However, by the end of December 2024.  The next spreadsheet for funds will be used to purchase two vehicles for different purposes. The Concrete Mixer will generate income in South Sudan's construction industry, and the other vehicle will serve as transportation for my family and transport farm products to local markets, supporting our sustainability initiative through income generation.

This is essential to ensure my work on the ground is not disrupted by a lack of funding for the home front and home office needs. This support will allow me to focus entirely on fieldwork. I will return before the tax season concludes to deliver a field report to you in person.

 Farm utility vehicle - $27,000

Raised $0, balance $49,000.00 due December 30th, 2024

Very promising. Ephesians 4 contains instructions on how to live in unity and love within the  Kehillah of Yeshuah  community. Key points include 12: One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God: Emphasizing the oneness of faith and belief.

Expressing Gratitude for Your Support

Thank you for your thoughtful  prayers.

Would you join us and pray for these needs today? As we are coming to end of November 2024, these are the most immediate needs that need to be met by December 10th before I leave for South Sudan. $48, 000  by December 10th, to manage the USA office for the next 4 months and $47,000 by December 31st.
